News During the first few months of 2008, a small group of library supporters discussed the need for a State Friends group in order to support our public libraries.  A resolution was signed by representatives of five Friends Groups throughout the state, calling for the formation of Friends of Nevada Libraries.  From that resolution, came the original Board and Membership.  A Mission Statement that included goals and objectives was agreed upon, Articles of Incorporation developed, and a set of bylaws adopted. Our own Ed Sepulveda is Executive Board President for 2009 Chamber of Commerce Expo at the Nugget The Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce held their annual Expo on May 2nd to 4th. Members staffed the FOL booth and gave candy, books and membership information, as well as donating door prizes for the event held at the Nugget Casino.
