Mission Statement
Friends
of the Pahrump Community Library is a non-profit organization that
assists the library with special
projects. Funds raised by the Friends go toward additional items needed
by the library
that might exceed the library’s annual budget. The Friends group raised
over $39,000during the past
eight years which has been used for books, computers, printers, etc.
that were needed by the
library.
Friends
operate “The Twice Annual Book Sales” which make available used books
to the
population
of the valley and help us to raise the much-needed funds we use for our
projects.
You
can join the Friends by picking up a membership application at the
Pahrump Community Library. Your
membership entitles you to attend our 10 monthly meetings a year and a 10% discount on all
books at our Book Sales.
Please email
connievanm@yahoo.com for more membership information.
